Haney Bypass

What is this engagement about?

The Province of B.C. and the Government of Canada are investing $22.3 million in the development and construction of the intersection improvements to the Haney Bypass. The project focused on the most critical areas of congestion along the Haney Bypass including Lougheed Highway east and west connections, Callaghan Road, and 227th Street. The project will help improve traffic flow along the Highway 7 corridor, while reducing collisions and improving pedestrian safety and multi-modal connectivity.

The Project is currently 50% designed. We looked for your feedback at Public Information Session and through the Haney Bypass Online Feedback Form.

The public information session was scheduled for January 31st, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The ACT Arts Centre 11944 Haney Place, Maple Ridge. The public was invited to attend a drop-in information session to learn more about the intersection improvements to the Haney Bypass.

How can my contribution make a difference?

The feedback received at this open house, through the online feedback form and through email helped inform the ministry as how to best communicate to those impacted by the project.
