What was this engagement about?
This project proposed to develop a copper-zinc-silver-gold deposit in the Nechako region of B.C. near Dease Lake. The deposit had an anticipated production capacity of 912,500 tonnes per year and a mine life expectancy of approximately twelve years.
How did my contribution make a difference?
The intention of seeking public comments was to ensure that all potential effects – environmental, economic, social, heritage and health – that might result from the Project were identified for consideration as part of the assessment process.
