What is this engagement about?
The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure invites the public to an open house to discuss options for long-term highway improvements in the Enderby/Splatsin area. Ministry staff will be on hand to answer questions and share a variety of possible options to improve highway safety and efficiency as part of the Highway 97A – Enderby/Splatsin Transportation Study.
The media and public are welcome to attend the open house.
Date: Wednesday, Oct. 23 2019.
Time: 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Enderby Seniors Centre, 1101 George St., Enderby
For anyone unable to attend but wanting to provide feedback, all open house materials will be posted online on the afternoon of Oct. 23 at https://www.gov.bc.ca/highway97a-enderby-splastin-study
How will my contribution make a difference?
This open house follows public workshops in both communities earlier this year to gather initial input on potential improvements, which would include intersection upgrades, highway capacity upgrades, highway access modifications, alternative routes and traffic control measures. The ministry will use the input to help develop a comprehensive transportation plan that will identify and access options to improve safety and traffic flow on the Highway 97A corridor through Enderby.
