What is this engagement about?
The Province is planning for future improvements to Highway 1 between 264th Street and Whatcom Road, and public engagement is underway to help determine the full scope of the project.
This engagement focuses on potential improvements on and near Highway 1 between Langley and Abbotsford, with a goal of improving sustainable transportation choices, fostering livable communities, getting goods to market, and making it easier for people to get to and from work so they can spend more time with their families. We want to hear about what is most important to you as we determine the priorities for improvement, and want your feedback on some ideas we are currently considering.
Feedback will be accepted until July 6th, 2021 at 4:00pm (PT).
How can my contribution make a difference?
Your input will assist the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure in determining the scope and nature of improvements to the Highway 1 corridor between 264th Street and Whatcom Road.
Following the conclusion of this public engagement period, a summary report of what we heard will be developed. Input will be considered as the ministry continues to plan for future transportation improvements as part of the Program.
