From September 6th to October 15th, British Columbians provided feedback to the Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) on how they would like to be engaged when major projects are proposed near their communities and how they would like to learn about the environmental assessment process.

The EAO received 180 comments to the survey
Input leads to action
The survey included questions that allowed the EAO to refine themes around how to best integrate public engagement into the environmental assessment (EA) process. Feedback gathered through the survey will inform the development of an updated public engagement policy.
