The Ministry of Transportation sought feedback from the community on the proposed design for the replacement or repair of the Kicking Horse River Bridges No. 1 & 2 on Highway 95 in Golden.

The ministry held an open house in 2016 to seek public feedback on two proposed alignment options. Since then, the ministry has done further planning and engineering, and is now presenting a new design that minimizes road and property impacts .

The project will improve safety, accessibility and mobility for users of the bridges.
