Engagement Timeframe

Online feedback and written submissions: October 5, 2021 to November 15, 2021

Input Received

  • In Phase 1, more than 1,000 comments were received through virtual open houses, surveys, and written submissions, about needs for the future of Taylor Bridge. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure engaged with local stakeholders who rely on the bridge the most, including industrial users, local residents and businesses, and the public.

Input Leads to Action

Phase 2 will build on the engagement from last fall and continues the ongoing technical work. Community members will be able to see how their input is shaping concepts and ideas towards a long-term solution for the bridge. There is also an opportunity to contribute non-technical feedback that will inform the work underway to develop concepts for the future of Taylor Bridge.

An analysis of all feedback received during Phase 1 and the What We Heard report have been released.
