By working together, we can protect B.C.\u2019s unique environment, meet our climate commitments, and generate benefits for more people as we build a cleaner economy.<\/p>\n<p>To develop the plan, we gathered feedback on the first set of priority areas \u2013 transportation, buildings, and a clean growth program for industry. In addition to a series of online discussions, interested groups and individuals were invited to provide written submissions.<\/p>\n<p>You can read a summary of comments from individuals in our <a href=\"\/app\/uploads\/sites\/121\/2022\/02\/MoE-Clean-Growth-Results-Final-Draft.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>What We Heard Report<\/u><\/a>. You can also read the <a href=\"https:\/\/engage.gov.bc.ca\/cleangrowthfuture\/archived-discussions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>archived online discussions<\/u><\/a> and view the <a href=\"https:\/\/engage.gov.bc.ca\/cleangrowthfuture\/public-submissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>written submissions<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Engagement Timeframe<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>July 20 to August 27, 2018<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Input Received<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>9,894 visits to the engagement site<\/li>\n<li>840 comments on the online discussions<\/li>\n<li>221 submissions from individuals<\/li>\n<li>153 organizational stakeholder submissions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Input leads to action:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/cleanbc.gov.bc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>CleanBC<\/u><\/a> plan was released December 5, 2018. Public engagement on clean growth future began with input processes in the summer of 2018.
