(Proponent) is proposing to develop the Blackwater Gold Project, located approximately 110 km south of Vanderhoof (proposed Project). The proposed Project would be an open pit gold and silver mine with a production capacity of 60,000 tonnes per day.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed Project is subject to review under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act and B.C.\u2019s Environmental Assessment Act.<br>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How did my contribution make a difference?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Public comments were sought to ensure that all potential effects \u2013 environmental, economic, social, heritage and health \u2013 that might result from the Project are identified for consideration as part of the assessment process.
