Providing a range of recreational activities, Golden Ears Park is one of B.C.’s most popular parks. The draft management plan describes the long-term vision for the park, provides strategies for protecting park values and managing park resources, and establishes zoning to define the types of visitor experience and levels of management within the park.

How did my contribution make a difference?

Citizens were invited to review the draft management plan and submit their comments using an online comment form, or by email, mail or fax. Citizens were also invited to attend open houses in Vancouver (January 29) and Maple Ridge (January 31). By sharing their views, citizens helped to guide the parks management planning process and ensure that the public’s perspectives were heard.

See the Golden Ears Park Management Plan that was approved in November 2013.

Details of the Engagement:

Date: February 15, 2013

Status: Closed

Location: Mainland/Southwest

Category: Parks & Recreation

Types: Online, In person, Email, Mail

[202
297
207

post-364","engagement","type-engagement","status-publish","hentry","engagement_category-bc-parks-recreation-and-tourism","engagement_region-lower-mainland-southwest","engagement_status-closed-with-results
["GET
