The Panel was tasked with examining housing trends for rental and homeownership and developing actionable recommendations to help British Columbians have access to housing that meets their needs and that they can afford.<br data-rich-text-line-break=\"true\"><br data-rich-text-line-break=\"true\">Throughout 2020 and early 2021, the Expert Panel met with the public, experts and stakeholders, including experts from academia, private and non-profit housing providers, Indigenous housing providers, financial institutions, property developers, tenant and housing advocacy organizations, employers, public servants and elected officials.
