Nations as well as an advisory group that included representatives of waterfront property owners, dock owners, science and conservation organizations, recreation groups, tourism and economic marine environment&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Align with existing approaches to avoid or mitigate impacts to First Nations rights and to heritage sites&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide greater clarity for current dock owners\u202fand people who want to build private moorage in this\u202farea&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help&nbsp;guide\u202fhow\u202fprivate moorage applications are considered in this area\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No changes are being proposed to the management of\u202fprivate moorage\u202fin freshwater&nbsp;or&nbsp;other dock types in this area,&nbsp;such as group moorage, strata&nbsp;moorage,&nbsp;commercial\u202fdocks\u202fand&nbsp;marinas.&nbsp;These&nbsp;are not\u202fconsidered\u202fin the\u202fdraft SMP.\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public
