Welcome to the Haney Bypass Intersection Improvements Project engagement website.

The purpose of this website is to provide you with information about the Haney Bypass Intersection Improvements Project and allow you an opportunity to provide input and share your thoughts throughout the project.

The Province of B.C. and the Government of Canada are investing $22.3 million in the development and construction of the intersection improvements to the Haney Bypass. The project focuses on the most critical areas of congestion along the Haney Bypass including Lougheed Highway east and west connections, Callaghan Road, and 225th Street. The project will help improve traffic flow along the Highway 7 corridor, while reducing collisions and improving pedestrian safety and multi-modal connectivity.

The public feedback period closed on February 28, 2018, and the Public Engagement Summary Report is posted on this website. The Project is currently in tender phase. Construction is anticipated to commence in Spring 2019 with the completion date in Summer 2020.
