Welcome to the Haney Bypass Intersection Improvements Project engagement website.

The purpose of this website is to provide you with information about the Haney Bypass Intersection Improvements Project and allow you an opportunity to provide input and share your thoughts throughout the project.

The Province of B.C. and the Government of Canada are investing $22.3 million in the development and construction of the intersection improvements to the Haney Bypass. The project focuses on the most critical areas of congestion along the Haney Bypass including Lougheed Highway east and west connections, Callaghan Road, and 227th Street. The project will help improve traffic flow along the Highway 7 corridor, while reducing collisions and improving pedestrian safety and multi-modal connectivity.

The Project is currently 50% designed. The public feedback period closed on February 28, 2018. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will post the Public Engagement Summary Report in Spring 2018 on this website. The project team is currently working on the 100% detailed design and will provide updates as information becomes available.
