Welcome to the Mt. Lehman Road 4-Laning engagement site.
The purpose of this website is to provide you with information about the Mt. Lehman Road 4-Laning Project and to collect feedback. Feedback was collected between October 11, 2017 to November 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
Mt. Lehman Road in Abbotsford is a north-south provincial route that accommodates local, regional and international vehicle travel. It serves as the primary access to the Abbotsford International Airport, and connects the movement of people and goods to the Canada/USA border and beyond.
The project will widen Mt. Lehman Road from two lanes to four between Great Northern Avenue to the Airport boundary, for approximately two kilometres. Additional work includes intersection improvements along the corridor as well as improved drainage, lighting and new bike lanes.
This project will improve safety and efficiency on Mt. Lehman Road, as well as accommodate pressures from projected growth over the next 25 years.
