From April 1 to June 27, 2019, the public was invited to participate in community meetings and an online discussion about modernizing the Royal BC Museum.

People were able to participate by:

  • Posting comments to an online dialogue on this site (now closed).
  • Attending one of seven public meetings in Prince George, Vancouver, Duncan, Victoria and Kelowna throughout May and June.
  • Formal email submissions by experts or organizations.
  • Attending B.C.’s first-ever virtual meeting on June 20.

The engagement closed on June 27, 2019 at 4pm.

The government  will release a summary report of the engagement Fall 2019. the government will use people’s feedback to inform the development of a business case in Fall 2019.
