Help Keep Campuses Safe

Everyone has a right to be safe on campus. All public post-secondary institutions in B.C. have a sexual violence and misconduct policy. We want to raise awareness about these policies, find out if there’s room to strengthen them and understand what more we can do to prevent sexual violence on campus.

Since May 19, 2017, the Sexual Violence and Misconduct Policy Act, built on a private-member’s bill, requires all B.C. public post-secondary institutions to have a policy and set out procedures on complaint reporting and response. Now we want to hear from you. On this website we invite you to link directly to your institution’s policy then complete our online feedback form. Your feedback will help ensure a strong policy framework that supports safe and informed post-secondary students, staff and faculty. Your views are important – thank you for participating.
