Engagement Summary
Over the past 12 years, the B.C. government has held various public discussions and engagements about Species at Risk and specific policy topics. These have included:
- 2010: the Task Force on Species at Risk
- 2014: the Five-Year Plan for Species at Risk
- 2016: the Species at Risk Public Engagement
- A description and the results of the 2016 engagement process
- 2018: On Potential Species at Risk Legislation

- 3,732 visits to the engagement site
- 98 stakeholders attended meetings
- 122 Indigenous Nations and organizations in 23 sessions around the province
- 76 stakeholders attended the Stakeholder Workshop
- 101 comments on the online discussions
- 11 stakeholder submissions were received
