Clinical Practice Reviewer Reports – Drug Reviews
What was this engagement about?
The Ministry of Health invited general practitioners (GPs) and specialists to provide input and advice about specific drugs and indications under review.
The Ministry of Health gathers evidence-informed input from clinicians about specific drugs and indications under review.
This input is collected as a short clinical practice reviewer (CPR) report that captures a clinician’s confidential input and advice about a specific drug and indication, based on their clinical practice experience and drug- or indication-specific expertise.
How will my contribution make a difference?
CPR reports inform PharmaCare drug coverage decisions about whether or not to list a drug on the provincial formulary.
This input consists of preparing a short three to five page clinical practice reviewer report that answers specific questions and captures a clinician’s confidential input and advice about a drug and indication, based on clinical practice experience and drug- and indication-specific expertise.
