James White Park Wells Project (EAO)
What was this engagement about?
The City of Fernie is proposing to construct two groundwater supply wells in James White Park. The Proponent has now submitted its application to obtain an environmental assessment certificate which is required before any work can be undertaken on the proposed project. Public comments were accepted between April 23 and May 25, 2015. All comments received during this comment period will be considered.
How can my contribution make a difference?
The intention of seeking public comments is to ensure that all potential effects – environmental, economic, social, heritage and health – that might result from the proposed Project are identified for consideration as part of the assessment process.
