What was this engagement about?
The Rocky Creek Energy Project is a proposed 500 megawatt wind farm to be constructed and operated in the Peace Region of British Columbia, near the community of Chetwynd. The Project is anticipated to supply thousands of homes with clean renewable power and boost economic development and employment opportunities in the Peace Region.
How did my contribution make a difference?
The proponent, Rupert Peace Power Corporation submitted draft Application Information Requirements. The Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) sought public comments on the application to ensure that all potential effects – environmental, economic, social, heritage and health – that might result from the Project were identified for consideration as part of the assessment process
