Engagement Summary
The Organic Matter Recycling Regulation (OMRR) governs the construction and operation of compost facilities, and the production, distribution, storage, sale and use of biosolids and compost.
The OMRR is undergoing a comprehensive review to ensure it remains protective of human health and the environment.
We welcomed comments regarding the information outlined in the 2018 Intensions Paper. Those interested were invited to submit comments. Responses received by November 8, 2018 will be considered when preparing the proposed revisions to the regulation.
