PreparedBC Survey

Engagement Summary

Emergency Management BC (EMBC) invited the public to complete an online survey to help understand British Columbians preparedness for an emergency. All B.C. residents were invited to participate. People’s responses to the survey, will give PreparedBC better information in order to continually refine their materials, information and outreach to target the areas of greatest importance.

Input Leads to Action:

During the engagement, 58% of respondents stated they were unprepared and 28.5% of the remaining 42% gauged their level of preparedness as almost adequate.  More details on the results of the survey can be found here.
