Radium Hot Springs Roundabout
Engagement Summary
The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will be replacing the four-way stop at the junction of Highways 93 and 95 in Radium Hot Springs with a roundabout to improve safety and traffic flow. The intersection experiences heavy congestion with long back-ups, causing lengthy delays during peak travel periods. Replacing the intersection with a roundabout will keep traffic moving efficiently and safely through the community.
A drop-in open house was held on September 4, 2019.
An online feedback form was also available for public input.

The top themes that emerged from the feedback forms were on both roundabout design and traffic movement. Many responses indicated overall support for the roundabout design, and noted that the roundabout design is an improvement over the existing four-way stop and will likely solve the existing traffic mobility and congestion issues at the intersection.
