People were invited to share their views by email, mail or telephone on ways to improve the workers’ compensation system for the people who use, access or work within it.

The independent reviewer heard from people, including injured workers, employers, representatives, medical practitioners, Indigenous people and First Nations, and the legal community.

There were a number of ways to provide feedback:

Please note: 

Anyone could submit comments. They did not need to be formal and could be in point form or hand-written, and they could include relevant attachments. As well, submissions could be in languages other than English, and the Reviewer translated the material into English.

If an individual had previously provided a submission to WorkSafeBC or elsewhere and wanted the Review to have this submission, it needed to be re-submitted to be part of this Review. Without a re-submission, the Review did not have access to the material.
