New Flexible Dates Feature at BC Parks
Categories:
Not sure when you want to go camping? Well, we have exciting news. With the new Flexible Dates search feature, you can see which sites are available without having to enter specific dates.
We heard from campers that want more flexibility in search options when it comes to booking a campsite – and when campers talk, we listen. The new Flexible Dates feature allows people to search which sites are available at their favourite park for one month at a time. Want to go camping at Alice Lake Park sometime in June? No problem, you can now search for all sites available at Alice Lake (or any frontcountry park) for the whole month of June, or July, or August…
How it works:
We suggest starting on bcparks.ca to find a park near you, or near your destination. Once you have decided which park you would like to visit, head over to camping.bcparks.ca to book your reservation.
Once you’ve selected the park, choose the date option and toggle on Flexible Dates.
Then select how many nights you would like to stay, which month you’d like to search and if you’re only interested in weekend camping opportunities. Lastly, select your equipment of choice, and press search.
The search results will be organized chronologically, from the earliest available dates to the latest.
Lastly, select the ‘View on Map’ button then complete the reservation as usual – it’s that easy. Visit camping.bcparks.ca to use our new Flexible Dates feature or watch the video below to learn more about Flexible Dates: https://youtu.be/SAMoXIsc95I. Happy camping!
