Volunteers Help Protect Habitat on Discovery Island

The Greater Victoria Green Team recently partnered with BC Parks to undertake a fence building project on Discovery Island. Check out this article from the Oak Bay News for more information about the project:

The completion of this project will allow park visitors to continue to use and enjoy the park while ensuring the protection of this critical habitat including California buttercup, a red-listed plant species in Canada. Thanks to the Greater Victoria Green Team and all the volunteers who participated in the project!
