Engagement summary
Child care in B.C. has come a long way. Lower fees, more spaces, and a bigger workforce with the newest social program in a generation. Now, the Province is building on this progress to guide the future of child care in B.C. We asked for public input to better understand how child care is working for families and determine priorities going forward.
With this survey, we sought feedback directly from:
- Parents and guardians
- Early childhood educators and the early childhood workforce
- Child care operators and communities throughout B.C.
Feedback will help inform how we can continue to strengthen child care in B.C. for families, educators, and most importantly, children.
