Engagement summary
Land stewardship planning supports preservation of cultural values, healthy ecosystems, and opportunities for economic activities by setting broad strategic direction for plan areas — providing clarity for ‘what’ can occur ‘where’ on land and water. It is a transparent and inclusive process that can be modified over time to address changing needs.
This questionnaire aimed to learn interest in the Tahltan-B.C. Land Stewardship planning process. We recommend you visit the project website to explore its details. Engagement with the public and interested parties will take place at crucial planning stages to learn and include local values and priorities into the process. Updates and future engagement opportunities will be shared under the Engagement tab on the project website.
