About the event
On November 21, 2023, Esther Lee, pediatrician, and Brenda Lenahan, co-director and founder of the BC Complex Kids Society, gave a presentation titled “Children with Medical Complexity: Growing in number and in support needs” at the first session in the Province’s Children and Youth with Support Needs Symposium Speaker Series.
The presentation had the stated objective of making caregivers and health professionals better informed so they can give feedback to agencies making improvements for Children with Medical Complexity, like the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
