About the event
On December 14, 2023, Robin Friedlander, psychiatrist, clinical professor and director of Neurodevelopment Disorders Program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and founder of Self Injurious Behaviour clinic, gave a presentation titled Behavioural Complexity and needs of children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders at the sixth session in the Province’s Children and Youth with Support Needs Symposium Speaker Series.
The presentation had the stated objective of making caregivers and professionals better informed so they can give feedback to agencies making improvements for children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders, like the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
