Engagement opportunities
The Province is pursuing engagement with British Columbians on Mineral Tenure Act Reform.
Engagement paths include consultation and cooperation with First Nation rights holders and First Nations organizations, and engagement with interested groups including industry, associations, mineral tenure holders, environmental non-governmental organizations (ENGOs), local governments, and the public.
As the engagement process continues, we will continue to update this website with relevant materials and engagement opportunities.

2018-2019 Engagement
From 2018 to 2019, the Province hosted a series of MTA engagement sessions with both First Nations and interested groups. An outcome of these engagements includes a What We’ve Heard Report outlining the living themes from engagement with regional forums of First Nations. (see 2019 Regional Engagement Report What We Heard.pdf).
