The CBRAC held its second in-person meeting on March 12, 2015 in Castlegar, B.C. Twenty-three of the thirty-six members attended, along with representatives from the B.C. Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Columbia River Treaty Local Governments’ Committee, BC Hydro, Fortis BC and the Canadian Federal Government. Highlights from the day included presentations from BC Hydro on Basin reservoir operations and planning for B.C.’s future energy demand, and a group discussion on how to further engage the public in Columbia River Treaty and hydro operations. CBRAC also received an update on Columbia River Treaty activities, and approved the CBRAC Code of Conduct. The agenda, attendee list, draft summary report and presentations are available below.
