Representatives of the Government of B.C., the Canadian Columbia River Treaty negotiation team, BC Hydro, and the Columbia River Treaty Local Governments Committee shared information about the low water levels in the Arrow Lakes Reservoir over the summer and fall 2023, which adversely affected fish populations, recreation, and tourism, caused dust storms and exposed debris. Information was also shared about efforts underway to address the situation and to reduce these types of impacts in the future.
