CBRAC requested a webinar to increase understanding of the purpose, process of development, roles and responsibilities for the Columbia and Duncan Water Use Plans (WUPs), and provide information regarding implementation of the WUPs. Thirteen CBRAC members tuned in, along with representatives from the B.C. Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Columbia River Treaty Local Governments’ Committee, and BC Hydro.
The presentation was delivered by a representative from the Water Management Branch of the B.C. Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations. The Deputy Water Comptroller of Water Rights was present to answer questions.
