Now that the Water Sustainability Act (WSA) and the initial set of regulations have come into force, work will be initiated on the other policies and regulatory components required to fully implement the WSA, including:

• Water sustainability plans
• Measuring and reporting
• Livestock watering
• Designated areas
• Dedicated agricultural water
• Alternative governance approaches
